We are thrilled to announce that the Senior Citizen Health and Wellness Fair was a huge success! The event, hosted by LauderhillAHL.com, was held on April 1, 2023, at St. Georges Park, and it was a day full of presentations, health screenings, breakfast and lunch, gift bags, giveaways, vaccine and booster shots, line dancing, and much more!
The event was a huge success, with over 250 residents attending and more than 40 vaccinations and boosters administered by CompCare. Broward Healthpoint Mobile saw over 32 patients, providing blood pressure checks, complete examinations, and blood sugar testing. Due to popular demand, the event was even extended by two hours.
We’re thrilled to report that 167 resident surveys, three business surveys, and 48 health care agency/worker surveys were completed, and 38 health screenings were conducted on the Broward Health Bus.
