Lauderhill Healthy You sponsored the City of Lauderhill’s incredible outdoor music and entertainment evening at Jammin in the Park on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Central Broward Park & County Stadium. This year’s event was bigger and better than ever before, as we moved to a new location and welcomed thousands of community members to enjoy a night of fun, laughter, and dancing.
With incredible performances by Montell Jordan, Gyptian, and Gucci Crew II, the park was alive with music, energy, and excitement. The Old Skool Gang, Lenora Jaye, and Blade Martin & the Sons of David also wowed the crowd with their incredible talents. DJ Big Man Kelly kept the party going all night long.
But it wasn’t just about the entertainment; Lauderhill Healthy You was also on hand to provide the community with the latest and most reliable information about health and wellness, including Covid-19 prevention. Over 2500 people were reached, and over 750 giveaways and gift bags were distributed, which included approximately 20 vaccinations and boosters.
This event was made possible through the Advancing Health Literacy Grant for Covid-19 Prevention and Literacy, executed through the Lauderhill Health You campaign. We are proud to be able to bring such a fantastic event to our community and to promote health and wellness in such a fun and engaging way.
We thank everyone who came out to Jammin in the Park and made this event successful.
