Lauderhill, FL – On April 18, 2023, Lauderhill Healthy You hosted an incredible community partners mixer to promote health and wellness in the community. This event brought together community partners committed to promoting healthy living in Lauderhill, and it was an evening of high energy, networking, and engaging conversations with expert health professionals.
Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy delicious lite refreshments and win amazing door prizes while connecting with like-minded individuals. The Bynes Team sponsored the event, and it was free and open to all community providers who serve the Lauderhill community.
Expert health and wellness professionals were on hand to share their insights and answer questions about the latest health innovations and practices. Over 20 surveys and 5+ business surveys were conducted, and the COVID-19 teach back method was used to educate attendees on prevention and healthy living practices.
The event was broadcasted live on WAVS radio, and attendees could try their hand at double dutch, with outstanding participation by Lauderhill Healthy You’s own Grady Ross. Caribbean/Jamaican catering was provided by an amazing vendor, adding a touch of culture to the event.
