Lauderhill Healthy You is thrilled to announce the success of our recent event, “Pass the Mic on Public Health: A Roundtable Discussion on COVID19.” Held in conjunction with National Public Health Week 2023, this event brought together expert speakers and community leaders to discuss important topics like mental health, violence prevention, and healthy homes, with a specific focus on Covid-19 prevention.
The turnout for this event was incredible, with a full house of engaged community members who were eager to learn, connect, and grow. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, share their own experiences, and gain practical tips and insights to help them prioritize their health and well-being. Our expert speakers and community leaders shared valuable insights and practical tips to help attendees lead healthier and happier lives.
We received positive feedback from attendees and are grateful to everyone who attended and made this event such a success. In addition, we conducted 47 resident surveys, 3 business surveys, and administered 16 booster/vaccine shots, highlighting the importance of community engagement in promoting health and wellness.
At Lauderhill Healthy You, we believe that knowledge is power, and we are committed to empowering our community with the tools and resources they need to live their best lives.
