Healthy You participated as a pop-up vendor at the Lauderhill Food Truck Roll event that kicked-off the new year on January 26, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Lauderhill City Hall (5581 W. Oakland Park Blvd). Healthy You administered COVID-19 vaccinations and distributed COVID-19 preventative health materials to the Lauderhill attendees. Attendees got to enjoy an evening of music, entertainment, and activities for family and friends to enjoy and be entertained. The food roll also included vendor participation from “The Stand,” a business whose name represents standing against economic deprivation in the Black community and is operated by young African-American entrepreneurs who sell delicious sweet treats and freshly squeezed lemonade.
